Cleveland Clinic offers elective rotations in many specialty areas to students who have completed their core clinical rotation clerkships and are in their final year of medical school.
We do not accept applications for the months of July (unless otherwise noted, please view academic calendar below to see areas available in July) and December. International rotations are currently very limited.
Please refer to the course description via course catalog for each rotation of interest for more information.

- Rotations must be scheduled based on our academic calendar; this is strategic to allow maximum number of students to rotate.
2025-2026 Academic Calendar
All visiting student rotations are scheduled as 4‐week block rotations only. Rotations must be scheduled based on our academic calendar (dates listed below). Exceptions are unlikely to avoid overlap. Each student is limited to a maximum of two different elective rotations.
Remember, priority is given to our own students for scheduling electives. Therefore, confirmation will not be given to visiting students more than 45‐60 days prior to the start date.
